Recipe for Love

As a man that has made his way through the culinary arts
and seen a little bit of success in these parts
I have been approached on many occasions
to share some of my knowledge and/or special preparations
of many delectable, divine creations
that would transport your palate into extra sensory sensations
leading your mind, body and soul into erotic temptations
and giving you only one chance at enunciation
and that is
to moan

There are many people that believe
some thing special exists in all recipes
making them unique for each individual
that little sumin' sumin' that's a bit unusual
they always ask about your "secret ingredient"
harmlessly and with honest intent
trying to add some "spice to their own life"
to spruce up their relationship with their husband or their wife
They attempt to duplicate what you've made at home
looking for the same result. Looking for that moan

A man approached me searching for answers to his problems
and felt that I could be the person to help him solve them.
he said, "Excuse me Chef, I am a man in distress
and I could use your help before I make my life a mess.
I need a very special recipe you see
A recipe for Love is what I need."

I told him,
"You'll never find a recipe for love written on a page or in a book
because the ingredients constantly change and evolve,
and so too should the cook.
The recipe for Love is not quite as easy as pie or even a piece of cake
cause having your cake and eating it too is one of Loves classic mistakes.

and Money can't buy you love at the corner store
only 'ol fashioned, homemade love from your heart
is what gets your foot in the door.
so I'll give you key ingredients that can be varied for situations
but one thing you have to develop is a good sense of anticipation

Let's break it down

R-E-S-P-E-C-T
is an important ingredient in Love's Recipe!
You can never have enough Respect for Feelings and Emotions,
two other main components in love's potion.
These three ingredients give you a foundation from which to build.
Recognizing what to add next, and how much, is where you hone your skill

Honesty is a key ingredient that helps bind love together,
and Devotion will help love rise despite any fowl weather,
and for those whose love has turned stone cold as they've grown older,
ya got ta' try a little Tenderness to warm up that cold shoulder.

It never hurts to add a few cups of Validation,
a handful of Imagination, and a few dashes of Celebration.
Don't forget copious amounts of Undivided Attention,
and when things get tough don't be affraid to ask for some Divine
Intervention.
You can WHIP all of these ingredients together, if that's what you're in to,
or let them roast, blend, marinate, meld or infuse.. what ever method suits
you.

Just remember the Final Ingredients
that will make it all come together
You see, Variety is still the "Spice of Life"
but Spontaneity is Loves "Natural Sweetener"
and with Love, there is no sugar substitute. Love has no Equal."
